Woodbury, MN., April 20, 2009—Dascom Systems Group, LLC, an audio/video and IPTV systems integration company based in Woodbury, Minnesota, today announced that Dave Hattey has been named Chief Executive Officer.

Bringing 28 years of technology and leadership experience, Hattey joins Dascom with a background ranging from small business to Fortune 100 enterprise and spanning the entire value chain including end user, reseller, operator and OEM. Hattey brings expertise in telecom, education and state/local procurements to the CEO position through his past executive careers at General Electric, 3Com, EFJohnson Company and Ericsson, Inc.

"I'm excited to be back in the systems integration business and to be working on the video side of IP," Hattey said. "I'm honored to lead the Dascom team and look forward to meeting customers and partners over the next few weeks."

Hattey obtained bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from the University of Michigan and holds a master's degree in business administration from Duke's Fuqua School of Business. In addition, he holds 11 patents in various communication protocols and technologies.
