Leveraging 30 years experience in city, county and state government, as well as experience across wired and wireless telecom, critical infrastructure telecommunications networks, power utilities and telephone companies, Dan directs business development for sophisticated integration including voice, video and IT solutions. With past experience at RCC Consultants, Designed Telecommunications, Strategic Telecom Solutions, D&L Communications, Ericsson and Mississippi Power Company/Southern Company, Draughn brings extensive consulting and hands-on experience managing networks from concept through implementation to operation—to help Dascom drive customers to their business goals. His specialty is business development toward clients with mission-critical wide area infrastructure- supporting educational, governmental, public safety, utility and/or commercial network operations.
Bob brings over 20 years of telecommunications experience to Dascom and a myriad of cloud based solutions experience. Bob has worked extensively on dedicated and shared outsourced solution services. Bob holds a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and is a commercial pilot with previous military service. Bob has architected and managed the construction and integration of many large enterprise and carrier backbone networks having worked as lead systems engineer for The Apex Group, ADC Telecom, was lead sales engineer for TRW Healthcare, to name a few. Bob went on to manage the engineering and sales teams that built a suite of hosted solutions called AppHostTM at USinternetworking (now AT&T) in Annapolis MD. Now, as Director of Cloud Services, Bob is leveraging long standing relationships, vendors, partners and a national private digital network (PDN), to build, run and grow a nationally available hosted application suite for mission critical voice, data and video solutions.
