DASCOM SYSTEMS GROUP ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF VIDEO VISITATION SYSTEM
TO PRODUCT AND SERVICE OFFERINGS

System provides face-to-face visits for inmates and visitors in prisons, detention centers and government buildings through advanced and secure audio/video conferencing technology

Woodbury, MN., April 21, 2008—Dascom Systems Group, LLC, an audio/video systems and IPTV systems integrator based out of Woodbury, Minnesota, today announced the addition of the VVS-S-1-IP Video Visitation System to their product and service offerings.

The new system features full audio/video conferencing capabilities in a secure enclosure and is used for face-to-face video visits between inmates and visitors in corrections and government facilities. Installed within a facility or in a remote location, the system has the flexibility to be wall-mounted or operated on a mobile pedestal stand, and includes optional connectivity to third party software for visit scheduling, monitoring and recording.

In addition to providing increased safety for guests, families, inmates and others, the VVS-S-1-IP Video Visitation System increases the productivity of correction and government employees by requiring fewer security resources for prisoner transport and visits, while also reducing the potential exchange of drugs and contraband that can occur during in-person visits.

“With the addition of the Video Visitation System to our offerings, we can continue to provide government and corrections customers with cost-effective, forward-thinking technology solutions,” said Bill Wolff, CEO, Dascom Systems Group. “This system not only reduces security costs associated with prison visitation, but it also increases the safety of inmates, guests and families during the visit.”
