Project Snapshot
Southeast Technical College (SETC) opted to integrate a sophisticated IPTV system upgrade to enable timeliness and convenience in videoconferencing between its Red Wing and Winona, Minnesota sites.

Network Transition- As SETC was using an existing network for distance education, the new network addition had to be a smooth transition.  SETC would use the existing network for distance education as it had in the past, but now through the Dascom upgrade would have the ability to switch "modes" and use the codecs to directly dial any other site containing a codec.

Using the new configuration and equipment, SETC now has the opportunity to launch a session whenever they wish, rather than calling the old network to schedule a session time.
