This Iowa Judicial Branch facility is connected to the statewide fiber optics network, Iowa Communications Network (ICN). 

To enhance speed and efficiency of criminal arraignment pro- ceedings, Iowa Supreme Court integrated an upgrade to existing video arraignment system for advanced control and ICN connection.  This enables them to connect to penal institutions, conduct arraignments from a remote location, and be aligned with the state and nationwide ICN.

> No distance limitations for serial device cluster (control from any location in facility)
