Project Snapshot
With hands-on experiments and learning stations throughout the Harold E. Edgerton Educational Center (EEC), visitors can choose from a plethora of activities.

Technology- A chroma key plasma screen with interactive games is a crowd favorite, while a ceiling mounted LCD projector provides various multimedia presentations (pictured at right). An intimate auditorium/theater offers showings of scientific entertainment in multiple formats while continuous digital video messaging on two high resolution plasma panels showcases attractions.

Distance Education- Integration of a world-class distance learning room in the lower level enables EEC to expand its mission outreach audience by partnering with schools in Northeast Nebraska to offer sessions to schools in with limited math, science and technology resources. Whether EEC is videoconferencing with NASA or giving a presentation on Harold Edgerton's time-motion studies, many benefit. Read more about Dascom Distance Education systems.
